About Amar Singh, MD, FRCP Electrophysiologist
Amarnauth Singh, MD, FRCP (London) is board certified in general cardiology and electrophysiology. He has been practicing electrophysiology for over 20 years in the Phoenix area. Dr Singh treats patients with various heart rhythm abnormalities, including placing pacemakers and defibrillators, performing ablation procedures for heart rhythm arrythmia such as atrial fibrillation and flutter as well as other abnormalities including supraventricular and ventricular tachycardia.
Dr Singh graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in Cardiff, Wales, UK. He then finished his residency in internal medicine at the University Hospital in Cardiff, as well as the United Cleveland hospital in the UK. Dr Singh then embarked to his cardiology training at the Queen Elizabeth University hospital in Birmingham. Subsequently Dr Singh completed a cardiology and electrophysiology fellowship at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He worked in the medical school faculty there for over 10 years before moving to Phoenix. Dr Singh has enjoyed practicing electrophysiology and will continue to be involved in the latest technologies to assist patients.
